Sometimes Adena wishes that she was more...bad. She doesn't like fallowing the rules all the time and wants to be a bit mischievous. Adena also sometimes wishes that she was a pure blood wizard.
DREAMS:
Adena wishes to become a famous musician or singer, to graduate out of Hogwarts and get a good job that gets her discovered, and lastly she would like to meet the guy of her dreams who's a wondrous musician and would make a great husband and father. Not necessary in that order.
OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Adena naturally is a very kind person. She tends to care about everyone, most of the time. Sometimes she can be a little colder to some people more then others, but it's not normally how she is. She tends to stay away from being angry or negative. She's usually the person who tries to back away from the fight slowly instead of go in swinging. She doesn't particularly like violence, nor does she really accept the idea of actual peace seeing as, well, she's seen what goes on on and in the Hogwarts campus. She knows how it is in this type of high school atmosphere, although she does tend to be the peace maker every now and again, especially when it involves people in her house. She doesn't want to lose house points, especially over something stupid like a quarrel between houses or friends.
Aside from being caring and somewhat peaceful, Adena is also a comic relief person. She loves hearing people laugh. She believes that laughter really is he best kind of medicine and tries to spread it around that way. She loves seeing people's eyes light up when their smiles reach them and their laughs dance through the air. Of course, besides making people laugh, she loves to laugh herself. Anyone who can make Adena laugh is pretty much a friend to her. Whether it's a stupid comment, a corny joke, or a really bad pick up line, it you say it and Adena laughs, she'll think you're alright. She tends to think that most people laugh naturally at a reaction to people being in pain or when people do something stupid so as such, Adena laughs at people when they trip or harm themselves(accidentally) and even when she trips and accidentally hurts herself. People find it weird, but it's how she works.
One thing that Adena won't do is cry, at least in response to anything negative. No matter how upset or depressed or sad she gets, Adena won't cry. She tends to keep those emotions locked inside of her, at least until one day she finally just explodes and spouts angry comments and furious words at the poor people who have decided to taunt her to the point of explosion. It's not an easy task, but only one person has done it and by using her words, Adena made them regret it. Of course, when Adena's happy, beyond happy, she'll cry. She believes crying when she's not happy or excited it's a sign of weakness and well, Adena sees weakness as failure and doesn't like to do that, but that's quite alright.

HISTORY:
Adena's parents met when they were in their late twenties at a small pub that the two of them actually went to quite often. They usually sat at opposite ends of the bar but on March 15th, Reid Garwin decided to approach young Cassandra Indore. She was flattered by this young man and gave him the chance to date her. After about three years the two of them were wed and on their anniversary, March 15th, nine months after their wedding, their precious baby girl was born, Adena Miranda Garwin. She had her mothers eyes and her father's face, Reid constantly told everyone around the hospital as he handed out cigars like most father's did when their first children are born. Sadly, after giving birth to Adena, Cassandra refused to give birth again, therefore leaving Adena to be an only child.
As Adena grew up, she was your typical American girl. She went to pre-school and elementary school like everyone else, that is, until the summer after her 11th birthday. She had gotten a letter in the mail from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Her parents were confused but after reading it a few times the couple was glad that they had not signed her up at one of the local middle schools. Inside of the letter were directions on where to go and how to get there. So, the small family of three moved to England for young Adena's schooling. Thankfully it wasn't hard for the muggle family to transfer some of their money to wizarding money to buy Adena her supplies for school. After which they got normal, muggle jobs and while Adena was off at Hogwarts, they got on with their normal lives, except for recieving an owl from their daughter every week.
At Hogwarts, Adena had been sorted in the house known as Gryffindor for the brave and true. She was immediately accepted with open arms into the house and by all of the houses actually, except for Slytherin. Once her blood type was found out by the Slytherins, they always taunted her, calling her a mudblood and whatnot. Adena was confused at first, not understanding what it meant, but after researching a bit she figured out what it meant and felt that it didn't affect her too much. After a while the taunting stopped and she moved on with her life. Gradually throughout her years at Hogwarts, Adena grew more and more confident in herself and her abilities. She grew to become fascinated with the wizarding world and most of her pure blood friends were amused by her actions, but she always told them that they would be the same if they were to visit the muggle world, which they agreed to. All in all, Adena's had a rather wonderful life.

Yes, Aliella had a different sense of music then most young woman, but it was just how she was raised. Her uncle always listened to Nazareth, Rod Stewart, Social Distortion, Foghat, Sweet, and so much more. It was usually what was blaring when they were working in the shop. The two of them loved to dance around when there was no one in the shop or when they were in the back shaping boards and whatnot during the summer. It was a fun way for the two of them to bond without having to do what other children had to do with their parents. Aliella was never forced to be with her uncle, she loved to be with him. He was, after all, her only family, sadly though she hadn't seen him for a while since he lived in California, but the two exchanged phone calls and letters when they could. Plus, Aliella sometimes left work for the summer to go and work with her uncle since most of his workers were the "surf when you want, work when you want" type of people, which was never good for business. Especially a skateboard and surfboard business in California where both were huge in the Venice neighborhood.
As Aliella danced around and sang loudly to her music, she began to organize things and take inventory like she usually did when she closed. It usually gave her something to do and let the person who opened would have less work to do, which was always better then them having too much to do. Aliella had been in that position and the person who closed before must have been high since the store looked like it had been broken in to, even though it hadn't. Either way, Aliella was dancing around and having a great time before she realized that she wasn't the only one in the store anymore. Her eyes widened slightly and she smiled happily before quickly turning down the music. "Haha, hey there! How can I help you?" She asked with a grin before the person stepped into the light in the store. Aliella sighed when she saw it who it was. "Curse you Ryan," she muttered before shaking her head at him. He was usually the one in the store who flirted with her and made fun of her, but she knew it was all in good fun and he didn't mean any harm by it.
